Today was the first time Addison went swimming at the pool. Ok, I don't know if you would actually call it "swimming". It was more like sitting in the water and splashing...and the pool was a plastic kiddie pool in a backyard, but still we had fun. Addison wore her new swimsuit for the first time- complete with matching coverup. Also, being a new mom I never realized how time consuming it can be to get a baby ready to "swim". First you have to slather them with sunscreen, then comes the hat and swim diaper and finally when you are all ready to hit the water. She starts crying and is ready for a nap! We eventually got her back in the pool.

oh! thanks for the reality check - i'm learning so much about child care from you. She sure is a beauty, though (but of course all true beauties must be the high-maintenance kind)
